Michelle discovered yoga at 27 and her practice deepend when she was 32 after she started to have pain in her neck and lower back from an underlying condition.


Michelle found that the therapeutic movement of yoga combined with the breathing exercises and her meditation practice transformed her health, wellbeing and vitality almost immediately from her embodiment of her daily practice.

After working as a corporate lawyer for many years, Michelle decided to take a career break and travelled to Costa Rica in 2017 where she trained as a yoga teacher. Michelle continued her travels and undertook further yoga courses and trainings in India and Italy. 


Michelle is passionate about yoga and loves to share her teachings to help others optimise their health and wellbeing through yoga.

Michelle founded Auriel Yoga in 2017 and has been honoured and blessed to offer yoga classes and teachings across a broad reach of students.
