When: Mondays and Thursdays, 6-7pm
Hatha practices are designed to align and calm the body, mind and spirit through traditional yoga postures and an emphasis and focus on the breath.
The classes combine a blend of asanas (physical postures) to move into and connect with the body, connection to the breath to anchor into the present and restful poses in between the physical postures to connect in to that deeper part of ourselves away from the thinking mind.
Classes also include pranayama (breathing exercises) and a relaxation at the end of the class to absorb the benefits of the practice deep into the body and allow time and space to quieten the mind.
