AN INTRODUCTION TO YOGA
Have you an interest in yoga but have yet to join a class from fear of not knowing what yoga is about? Then this course is perfect for you!
This four course is designed to introduce the teachings of the fundamentals of yoga and with a key focus on alignment in poses. This course is ideal for anyone who would like to start yoga or would like to understand the techniques to improve alignment and posture. Each class will have a specific theme with a focus on a particular area of the body each week. The classes will include a variety of standing, seated and balancing postures.
Classes will also include breathing exercises to help to correct short breathing patterns and also include a relaxation at the end designed to calm and nourish the body and mind and bring the body and mind into a peaceful and calm state.
This course runs for four weeks and a new course will starts on Wednesday, 13th February 2019.
